Renewing Canines for Therapy Teams.
If you are currently a Canines for Therapy Team (CFT), you must re-assess and complete registration once every two years to continue to be a an active CFT team.
Contact the site in which you originally completed CFT training and assessment to schedule a re-assessment. Complete the CFT Renewal Packet prior to your scheduled assessment appointment. Assessment and registration fees apply.
Pet Partner Teams.
If you are currently certified as a Delta Society Pet Partner team, you are eligible for re-evaluation as a Canines for Therapy team if you had previously completed your Pet Partner evaluation at with Teamworks Dog Training or Canines for Service. If you fail the assessment and have never taken the Therapy Dog class at Teamworks Dog Training or Canines for Service before, you must take the Therapy Dog class before re-attempting the assessment.
Pet Partner teams taking the Canines for Therapy team assessment for the first time must submit a full registration packet.
