Jeff & Carter

U.S. Air Force and Army Veteran, Jeff, received his service dog, Carter, in November 2024. Jeff was introduced to service dogs when he started to volunteer with CFS. He saw firsthand the amazing tasks dogs like Carter can do to support Veterans like him.

His service dog, Carter, supports him with deep pressure therapy when he is anxious, alerting him when he needs to step away, and retrieving items. When he first met Carter, Jeff said, “You are my new best friend, so you are stuck with me for life!”
